Since Monday, August 30, I have spent most of my days ministering to those affected by Hurricane Ida. I have also assisted several ministries with logistical efforts while maintaining the ongoing prayer and ministry efforts that God has called me to in this season of my life.
Between Sept 29 and Oct 9, I will be leading and participating in several ministry opportunities in the DC area, including leading several prayer gatherings for life in front of the US Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court is set to hear arguments on Dec 1 in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case. I encourage you to pray for the United States Supreme Court as they prepare for this case. Please pray for Chief Justice John Roberts, Jr., Associate Justices Clarence Thomas, Stephen Breyer, Samuel Alito, Jr., Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.
As a reminder, I host two in-person prayer gatherings every month. One gathering meets on the first Tuesday of every month in Baton Rouge and the other is held on the second Tuesday of every month in Washington, DC. I want to share something with you that the Lord has placed on my heart. In the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, I have seen the need firsthand to support First Responders and Disaster Relief Workers. I would like to be part of the initial response team where we can provide ice and meals for first responders and local authorities.
It may be in the aftermath of a storm like Hurricane Ida where assisting with physical needs opens up opportunities to present the Gospel. To meet this need we need a trailer to make ice and a trailer to prepare two meals a day for a minimum of 200 per day. The approximate cost for the ice trailer is 20K and the outfitted cooking trailer is 180K.

I continue to work on the content I will share online in January to teach and encourage prayer. I am currently working through the physical set-up with a technical consultant and preparing to secure those resources to carry out live stream efforts and podcasts.
