Prayer is Important

Hello friend,

I began the month of June hosting a team of intercessors from Seoul. You may have heard or read about groups of Koreans coming to the United States during the week of Pentecost. A ministry in Seoul sent 20 teams to pray for the U.S. during Pentecost. I am grateful for the time together and look forward to sharing future prayer opportunities with them through other mediums.

Prayer Calls

I thank God for intercessors around the world and here at home. I thank Him for their willingness to come together and pray—for families, churches, and our nation.

I am so thankful to be able to start an additional prayer call on Wednesday evenings. Beginning this August, the meeting will take place at 8:00 pm EST. I also lead a prayer call on Saturday mornings at 6:30 am CST. If you want to join us, please message me at 615-260-4752, and I will send you the call information. If you have any specific prayer needs, let me know so I can pray for you.

In-Person Prayer Gatherings

I want to invite you to join other Intercessors and me to come and pray for the work of the Family Research Council and other ministries in DC, for our government, churches, families, education, military, media, businesses, and entertainment. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month. Please message me for details on location and if you need help with lodging. If you can stay a few days, we can talk through some plans to not only see the city but also connect and hear from ministry leaders about how God is working in and through DC.

While we have a lot to pray for these days, I find that special time is needed to pray for families. I am grateful that God continues to open doors for me to minister to families. I appreciate your prayers for me as I walk with families experiencing hard times.

I thank God for allowing the Roe and Casey decisions to be overturned. Decisions like these should always be with the people in each state and decided by voters. May we continue to pray for the ministries that work with pregnant women and for churches as they minister to families.

The Lord has also given me a front-row seat to support a family who was in Iran and converted to Christianity. I am grateful that after months of waiting, they are now in the US and getting help from what they have been through as converts to Christianity.

Thank You

Thank you for continuing to pray for our daughters-in-law Ann and Liv.

Ann started radiation treatments and should finish the second week of August. Once she completes radiation, she will have a few weeks to rest before undergoing other procedures.

Liv continues to do well with her pregnancy. I am grateful that Liv and the twin boys Davy and Remy are all doing well. I hope to have Jerilyn home by mid-August so she can rest before the twins are born in September.

Thank you for your love and support of the work I am doing for the glory of the Lord.

With a Grateful Heart,

Pastor Jay
