Hello friend,
I trust this month has been special to you and your family. The celebration of Jesus’ resurrection should be a daily celebration for us as followers of Jesus. I am forever grateful that he received me as a sinner and that I have a life with Jesus here on this earth and throughout eternity.
Recently I have been reading and praying through Psalm 118. I encourage you to also read through and meditate on these 29 verses. I pray they will encourage you this week.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his faithful love endures forever.
Psalm 118:1
Prayer Request for Healing
I’m sending my monthly newsletter out a few days early to reach out to my fellow intercessors. Please pray for our son Grady and daughter-in-law Ann. She will be undergoing surgery today, April 28.
I’ve shared before that Ann has been going through breast cancer treatments since October 2021, and she is now ready for surgery, followed by radiation treatments. Jerilyn was able to come home for a few weeks while Ann rested after all her chemo treatments but is now back to help them through this season. We are praying expectantly for complete healing and no return of cancer in Ann’s body. Jerilyn will be home around mid-July and have some time to rest before the birth of our twin grandsons that Liv and Jody will welcome to the world this September.
Ministry Updates
I continue my prayer efforts with the Family Research Council as their National Prayer Director, and I encourage you to join me in Washington, DC for our monthly prayer gathering. We meet in person every 2nd Tuesday of the month to spend time in prayer together.
If you’re interested, after our prayer time, I can take extra time with you to pray throughout the city.
I also lead a prayer call every Saturday, beginning at 6:30 AM CST. I will be starting an additional call in June. I’m currently working to finalize the time and day.
If you’d like to join our email list for updates on our prayer call and other prayer opportunities, please contact me or fill out our Prayer Call Form.
In addition to this work, I continue to be used by the Lord to walk with hurting and healing families. I am humbled by how God brings families to me to love and guide them to Him. I ask you to join me in praying for families dealing with heartaches made by poor choices and addictions.
I count it a joy to have you as a ministry partner. Thanks for your ongoing support.
With a Grateful Heart,
Pastor Jay
