Prayer for the Vulnerable

Hi friend,

I thank you for your continued support of my work through Jay Johnston Ministries. Please take some time today to read our November newsletter and pray that God would continue to work through us to further His Kingdom.

Prayer for Dobbs v. Jackson

The opportunity is before us as a nation to see Roe v. Wade overturned. I have been ideating, participating in, and leading multiple prayer meetings since October 2 as we approached the US Supreme Court’s hearing of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case. This case could uphold the life of the unborn after 15 weeks in the state of Mississippi and ultimately overturn Roe v. Wade.

I pray that through this case, we see America turn to God. That through this case, more people would see the value of the life of a baby in the womb and of every life until they pass from this earth. That through this case, we could cultivate a culture where people value life and give a voice to the unborn. That through this case, we see violence in the home and violence on the streets decrease. Please continue to pray for the work of the US Supreme Court and consider your role in supporting the sanctity of life.

Year-end Giving

If you did not see my Giving Tuesday email, you can read it here and learn about some financial needs in my ministry work. Your financial gifts go toward helping others and allowing me to lead out God’s vision of ministering to people, which allows me and others to share more about Jesus. Thank you in advance for considering giving a year-end gift to Jay Johnston Ministry to support our ministry.

Thank You

You are such a blessing to me, and I count it a joy that you are willing to receive this monthly update from me. I thank you for your love and prayer support for me and Jerilyn. I am incredibly grateful for you remembering our family as our daughter-in-law Ann battles Stage 3 breast cancer. Grady and Ann are also appreciative of your prayer support.

Prayer Opportunities

In closing, I have shared that I also have the opportunity of building a National Prayer Ministry to support the work of the Family Research Council. We currently have two in-person prayer meetings that meet monthly and one weekly prayer call that will multiply to more calls beginning in February 2022. I welcome you to join me at one of the monthly in-person meetings. One is held on the first Tuesday of every month in Baton Rouge, and the other is held on the second Tuesday of every month in Washington, DC. If you would like to join the Saturday Prayer Call at 7:30 AM EST, you can dial (425) 436-6287 toll-free and, when prompted, use the passcode 970542# to join.

May the Lord Bless You in this Christmas Season.
See, the virgin will become pregnant
and give birth to a son,
and they will name him Immanuel,
which is translated “God is with us.”

Matthew 1:23

With a Grateful Heart,

Pastor Jay Johnston
